We are excited to host this session on knee conditions, brought to you in collaboration with the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association (BOTA).

It is aimed at orthopaedic surgeons in training and may also be of interest to allied health professionals.

The session will cover high-yield and common knee topics for clinical practice and also for the FRCS (Tr & Orth).

Session 1: overview of periprosthetic infection

Session 2: common exam topics

Session chair: James Murray
Mr Murray will be discussing topics such as 'what total knee replacement will you use' and the management of prepatellar bursitis.

Session 3: knee dislocation and biomechanics

Session chair: Sarah Mitchell
In this session the panel will be giving an overview of knee biomechanics and discuss knee dislocations and the management algorithms for clinical practice.

Target audience: orthopaedic surgeons & trainees, junior doctors and medical students, orthopaedic industry & orthopaedic training / research institutions, orthopaedic nurses specialists, and allied healthcare professionals.
