Manoj Ramachandran is a Senior Consultant Paediatric and Young Adult Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeon at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health and Professor (Visiting). He is the Director of Research and Innovation at Barts Orthopaedics and an Honorary Reader at the Institute of Bioengineering, Queen Mary, University of London.

He has published over 110 papers in peer-reviewed journals and written 18 books, including ‘Basic Orthopaedic Sciences’ and ‘Clinical Cases and OSCEs in Surgery’ used extensively by surgical and orthopaedic trainees globally.

He is a recognised educator, teaching on multiple courses globally and having founded and run education companies. He is also passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, having founded, run and/or advised multiple digital health and med tech companies and having worked previously as Director of Informatics, Surgery and Cancer, and later CIO of Barts Health NHS Trust.
