Join our expert faculty for this 60 minute session delivered in partnership between orthohub and ORUK to explore the basic science of TKRs and the application of this knowledge in to clinical practice to optimise our surgeries and TKR outcomes.

We explore

     – approaches, exposures, and releases

     – the biomechanics of TKRs and what to say in the FRCS orth viva

     – posterior stabilised vs cruciate retaining

     – the implications and effects of offset, sizing and radius of curvature

     – balancing and alignment of TKRs and how best to do it

     – plus more practical guidance, tips and tricks for success.

Target audience – all orthopaedic practitioners, from consultants/attending grades through to surgical trainees, PAs, nurse specialists and plaster techs.
