Anish is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Norfolk & Norwich UniversityHospitals, with an exclusively paediatric practice and a special interest in paediatric limb reconstruction.
A former trainee on the Royal London Hospital Trauma & Orthopaedic program, he then completed specialist fellowships in Paediatric Orthopaedics & Paediatric Limb Reconstruction in Sydney, London and Sheffield. He was awarded the BSCOS international travelling fellowship, visiting Limb reconstruction centres in Baltimore and Palm Beach.
He has organised, and been invited faculty, on a number of postgraduate courses.
He was awarded “Trainer of the Year” in 2018 by the East of England Trauma & Orthopaedic Specialty Trainees and is now Director for the East of England Trauma & Orthopaedics Specialty Training Programme.
He has served as a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society and the committee of the UK Skeletal Dysplasia Group. He is currently a member of the Education Committee of the British Society of Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery. He has also recently joined the faculty for the AO paediatric trauma group.
He has a number of presentations & publications (papers and book chapters) in Children’s Orthopaedics.
Since March 2020, he has completed many many walks.
