Dr. Nuelle is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in sports medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society. He then moved to Chicago, where he earned his medical doctorate and graduated with honors from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Missouri and was fortunate to receive many awards, including the Allen Menard leadership award, the Barry J. Gainor resident award in education, and the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute outstanding Orthopaedic resident award.

During his residency, Dr. Nuelle gained the skills necessary to treat a vast array of orthopaedic injuries and patients of any age, but he discovered a special interest in treating athletic injuries. He completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Missouri, where he furthered his knowledge of arthroscopic surgical techniques for the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle as well as partial knee replacements. He also served as a team physician for University of Missouri Athletics.
